Opening: [00:00:05] Remember, Follow me on LinkedIn, Follow me on LinkedIn, Follow me on LinkedIn... (laughter).

Theme Song "Crush" by Tessa Violet: [00:00:18] "I can't focus on what needs to get done. I'm on notice hoping that you don't run..."

Update on Recruitsos: [00:00:19] And I'm back. Okay I had to do it. So first up, big news! I'm sharing that last, just kidding. First up, Recruitsos. If you haven't looked on my LinkedIn profile. If you haven't looked there, look there right now, you'll see I co-founded a company called Recruitsos. It's a video interview platform. Wait, hang on. If you want to know more, check it out. Recruitsos.io β€” I'll put it here: Recruitsos.io. Help us out by signing up for the beta. Super excited about it. We can talk more about that some other time.

[00:00:56] Number two: social media. Whoo!! Just got another subscriber on Product Hunt for the beta. Sorry, it came on my phone right. This is why you put your phone on airplane mode. So again, though, if you haven't signed up for the beta, it's free. Sign up for it. Please, please, please. Thanks. 'Preciate it. Love You.

[00:01:14] That said, number two: social media. It is so hot here. Whoo! Lord, I'm smoookin'! So, we're gonna be posting across social media much more than in the past. As a matter of fact, we're going to inundate your news feed with as many social media posts as possible.

[00:01:38] Totally kidding. That said though, I'll be posting more on LinkedIn, putting some content here every Tuesday. We'll also be posting on Medium and our blog, where you can find all the resources in one place.

[00:01:51] We'll have post going on YouTube, as well. Those are more for startup folks. For the LinkedIn peeps, it'll be more hiring and recruitment-based. And then, for the SaaS Hacks group on Facebook β€” if you're on the waiting list, by the way, for that group, because we realize there are a good number of people at this point on the waiting list β€” that's okay. You're going to have access very soon.

[00:02:16] And finally, the big news. So, if you haven't heard or seen a post we are now finalists in the d-LAB Women in Tech Challenge for 2018 β€” super excited about it, by the way. d-LAB.tech is the website. I'll put it here, or in the comments β€” actually, I'll put it in the comments, below. By the way, if you have a question about anything, or you just wanna say "Hi!" I'm cool with that.

[00:02:43] d-LAB.tech So, it's focus this year is Empowering Women in Tech, and we are coming up with some innovative ways to implement that into our platform. So, very, very excited about what's coming, what we're doing there, as well as all the love and support, really from everybody, especially from the folks at Mobile World Congress / Mobile World Capital, d-LAB.tech, so Carina, Noah β€” those folks are super awesome.

[00:03:13] So yesterday, I watched a documentary called "Code: Debugging the Gender Gap." And, one thing I found to be very interesting, and I think it's the reason that organizations like d-LAB exist is because, for example, something really stood out to me: a woman was being interviewed, and she was telling the story of the creation of airbags in modern day vehicles and that the early deaths, when the airbags first rolled out, were amongst women and children.

[00:03:49] Turns out the entire group of people who designed the airbags, and tested the airbags, and came up with the science behind the airbags... it was only men. Only adult males. They were the only ones. They created it for themselves, basically. So, they hadn't thought about, well how might the deployment of these airbags impact someone who weighs less, or who is smaller and who's head is here instead of here, who's body frame is this instead of that.

[00:04:20] And one statement the woman said, it really, really, struck a chord with me β€” she said: Had there been a woman in the room, that conversation would have happened.

[00:04:31] That, for me, sums up in a nutshell why diversity in perspective equals dollar signs for companies today.

[00:04:40] We are definitely super excited to partake in helping to, not only close the gender gap, but close the diversity gap in tech. And just really be a part of be a part of all this.

[00:04:53] So that's it. That's all great news I share. I'm super excited about it.

[00:04:57] We actually have some additional really cool exciting stuff going on behind the scenes, so excited to share with you guys updates. Again, keep your eyes peeled as we'll start to post on those various social media channels I mentioned. Every Tuesday. Starting, Tuesday after next.

[00:05:15] And, that's a wrap.

[00:05:18] Follow me on LinkedIn. Follow me on LinkedIn, and follow me on LinkedIn.
